Youth Parliament 2025 was truly one of the most memorable and rewarding experiences!! From the moment it began, I was surrounded by passionate, like-minded young people who genuinely cared about making a difference. The Residential week was a whirlwind of learning, laughter, and leadership.

I gained so much insight into how our government works—things I’d only read about in class suddenly became real as I debated bills, sat in the chambers at Parliament House, and experienced parliamentary procedures firsthand. Writing and amending bills, making speeches, and participating in debates helped me grow more confident in public speaking and taught me the importance of preparation, teamwork, and respectful disagreement.

But more than just the learning, Youth Parliament was incredibly fun. Whether it was late-night games, inside jokes with my team, cheering each other on in debates, or bonding over snacks during breaks, I made friendships and memories I’ll never forget. The energy, support, and encouragement from everyone involved made the whole week feel special.

Youth Parliament 2025 didn’t just teach me about politics—it empowered me to use my voice, believe in my ideas, and keep striving to create positive change. I’m so grateful I had the chance to be part of it.
